Uptown
I've had a lot of trouble with auto repair stores when it comes to honesty, but Nelson's will not disappoint you. I first found out about them from a good friend of mine that I've known for 13 years, who had similar bad experiences being lied to by auto shops. He had nothing but good things to say about Nelson's, so a couple of months ago I gave them a try. They fixed up the issues I had and more. Recently I had my tires replaced somewhere else since it was an emergency, and Tires plus tried telling me I had bad tie rods despite just getting one replaced at Nelson's a couple of months ago, and tried charging an additional $400. I declined and checked in with Nelson's, brought my car in, and surprise surprise, turns out Tires plus wasn't being honest. My tie rod they worked on is fine and they even did a complementary alignment and took care of the other. I won't be going back to Tires plus, or any other auto repair store, actually. Provided that the owner, management and mechanics stay honest and reliable, Nelson's has earned a customer for life as far as I'm concerned.
